Meredith 'Don' Moree, a 49-year-old man, lost his life in a tragic shooting on April 24, 1996, in Jackson, Mississippi. The incident, which unfolded at a fire station, was the result of a violent rampage by one of his colleagues. The gunman, also a firefighter, fatally shot Moree and three other fire department officials, in addition to his own wife, before taking his own life.

The perpetrator was identified as Kenneth Tornes. The other victims of the firehouse shooting were Stanley Cleo ...
