Dominique Garrett, aged 25, tragically lost his life on February 9, 2017, in Jackson, Mississippi, during a violent home invasion. On that fateful night, Garrett and a group of friends were gathered at Westwood Apartments on Robinson Road, playing dominoes. Suddenly, several armed men burst into the apartment, demanding their belongings. The occupants, who were also armed, engaged in a shootout with the intruders. Dominique Garrett was fatally shot during the exchange of gunfire.
