In the spring of 2018, a young man's life was tragically cut short in Jackson, Mississippi, over what was reported to be a simple argument about food. Justin Harper, a 20-year-old male, was found deceased on a porch on Cameron Street on April 30, 2018. An investigation into his death would reveal a brutal and personal act of violence. He had been shot 17 times, a detail that spoke to the intense anger behind the act. The murder weapon was recovered at the scene of the crime.
