Michael Eugene Armstrong, a 41-year-old male from Virginia Beach, died on April 8, 2026, after a shooting in the 600 block of Chancery Square. The day unfolded in the early afternoon, when Virginia Beach emergency communications received a report of a shooting at about 1:31 p.m. Police and EMS arrived at the residential area and found Armstrong suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
