A young man is murdered while working at a sub shop
On a Sunday evening in November of 1991, a 22-year-old white male named Lee Allen Navarro was working alone at the Zero's Sub Shop in the Birchwood Shopping Center on Virginia Beach Boulevard. The solitude of his shift was shattered when he was fatally shot in the chest. The discovery was made around 7:45 p.m. by potential customers who entered the sub shop to find Mr. Navarro gravely wounded.
