A teen is shot while standing in the 1000 block of Atlantis Drive in Virginia Beach
In the summer of 1992, a violent act cut short the life of a young man in Virginia Beach. On the evening of Wednesday, August 19, 1992, 19-year-old Karl Alston was standing in the 1000 block of Atlantis Drive when he was fatally shot. Alston was a Black male with brown eyes and black hair, stood 5' 8' tall, and weighed 174 pounds.

Witnesses at the scene described two individuals believed to be involved in the shooting. One suspect, seen holding a gun, was a Black male approximately 5' 8' ...
