In the early hours of a Sunday morning, the quiet of Montgomery, Alabama was shattered by a string of violent and unrelated acts. On April 12, 2026, just three minutes after midnight, 21-year-old Tori Kelly Jr. was found with a fatal gunshot wound on Wares Ferry Road. His life was cut tragically short in what would become a weekend marked by bloodshed in the city, with a total of four homicides occurring within a 48-hour period.
