In the winter of 2026, the life of 25-year-old Aaron Whitfield Jr. was tragically cut short on the evening of January 11th in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Surveillance footage from the area captured a silver or gray Honda pulling up alongside Whitfield's tow truck before two individuals opened fire. Whitfield worked for 448 Towing and Recovery, a company that had seen two other employees killed in the preceding weeks. On December 22, 2025, another driver from the same company, 20-year-old David Garcia-Morales, was also shot and killed in his tow truck.
