Hyneaf Harris, an 18-year-old male, was fatally shot in the early morning hours of New Year's Day in 2015, marking him as Philadelphia's first homicide victim of the year. The incident occurred around 5:15 a.m. inside a residence on Philip Street near Grange in the city's Olney neighborhood. Harris, who lived on the same block where the shooting took place, was found with a gunshot wound to his head.
