Death by Force

Corey Crippen, a 34-year-old Black male, was tragically shot and killed in Philadelphia's Mantua neighborhood on August 29, 2021. He was found unresponsive in an alleyway behind 3700 Aspen Street around 4:44 a.m. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered that Corey had suffered multiple gunshot wounds throughout his body. Despite their efforts to save him, Corey was pronounced dead at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center later that morning.
