In the early morning hours of Sunday, August 29, 2021, the life of 34-year-old Corey Crippen was tragically cut short in a hail of gunfire in Philadelphia's Mantua neighborhood. A Black male, Crippen was discovered unresponsive in an alleyway situated behind the 3700 block of Aspen Street. The call came in to Philadelphia Police officers at approximately 4:44 a.m., and upon their arrival, they found Crippen suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
