On January 23, 2015, Deandre Bing, a 17-year-old high school senior, was tragically shot and killed in Philadelphia. The incident occurred at approximately 5:49 p.m. on the 2000 block of North Lambert Street. Police officers arrived at the scene and found Deandre suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest. He was rushed to Temple University Hospital, but despite medical efforts, Deandre was pronounced dead later that evening.
