On January 6, 2016, Damon Swain, a 49-year-old man from Philadelphia, was shot multiple times on the 2600 block of North Stanley Street. The incident occurred at approximately 7:57 p.m., and police responded promptly to the scene. Damon was found lying in the street, suffering from several gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to Temple University Hospital, where, despite the efforts of medical personnel, he succumbed to his injuries.
