Death by Force

On September 13, 2016, Edwin Cartagena, a 32-year-old resident of Philadelphia, was shot on the 2900 block of North Howard Street. The incident occurred in the late afternoon, around 5:22 p.m. When Philadelphia police officers arrived at the scene, they learned that Cartagena had already been transported to Episcopal Hospital by private means. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital at 5:45 p.m.
