Derrick Blye, a 23-year-old man from Philadelphia, PA, tragically lost his life on August 4, 2022. Derrick was shot multiple times in a double shooting incident that occurred early in the morning on Parrish Street in West Philadelphia. He was transported to Presbyterian Medical Center but was pronounced dead at 7:04 a.m. A 17-year-old boy who was also shot in the neck during the incident was taken to the same hospital and placed in stable condition.
