In the early morning hours of Saturday, December 6, 2025, a violent incident unfolded on the near east side of Indianapolis, Indiana. Officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched shortly before 1:00 a.m. to the 3100 block of East 10th Street, near the intersection with North Rural Street, following reports of a shooting. Upon arriving at the scene, first responders located 52-year-old male Lloyd Rafiel Moncrief suffering from a gunshot wound.
