In the early hours of a cold January morning in Indianapolis, a violent encounter set in motion a chain of events that would ultimately lead to the death of a young man. Jesus Medrano, a 23-year-old male, was shot on Sunday, January 24, 2021. The incident occurred just after 2 a.m. in the 7000 block of Graham Road. Medics arrived to find Medrano critically injured and transported him to a local hospital.
