On August 25, 2023, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) initiated an investigation following the discovery of a deceased individual on the near north side of Indianapolis. The body was found around 2 p.m. in the 2900 block of Indianapolis Avenue, near West 29th Street, next to a garage of an occupied house.
