On April 2, 2025, at approximately 4:40 PM, 18-year-old Jaiden Gardfrey was fatally shot in a residential neighborhood on Indianapolis' near-northwest side. The incident occurred in the 900 block of West 32nd Street, near the I-65 interchange at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street in the Keystone Park housing addition.
