Latisha Ann Hilley, a 39-year-old woman from Abilene, Texas, tragically died on July 26, 2015. Her body was discovered behind an abandoned home in north Abilene, and her death was quickly investigated as a homicide. The investigation revealed that Hilley had been shot in the head, and a firearm believed to be the murder weapon was found in the vehicle of John Atkins, an Abilene resident.
