Megan Kirkland, a 19-year-old woman from Abilene, Texas, tragically lost her life on August 16, 2020. She was attending a large house party on Fulwiler Road when a fight broke out. In an attempt to break up the fight, someone fired warning shots into the air, but another individual from a different direction began shooting, and Megan was fatally hit by a bullet.
