In the early morning hours of August 1, 2026, the life of 17-year-old Izabella "Bella" Orona was tragically cut short. A shooting at a residence on the 2000 block of North 16th Street in Abilene, Texas, left the teenager with a severe gunshot wound. First responders rushed her to a local hospital, and she was later transferred to Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth for more specialized care.
