On a Sunday evening in Indianapolis, Indiana, the lively sounds of a basketball game at Grassy Creek Regional Park were tragically interrupted by gunfire. It was April 4, 2021, when 26-year-old Marcel Chisholm, a male, was shot and killed on the basketball court. The incident occurred shortly before 7 p.m. in the 10000 block of East 30th Street, a popular spot on the far east side of the city where, on that day, a crowd of about 150 people had gathered.
