On May 8, 2021, the quiet atmosphere of a park on the south side of Indianapolis, Indiana, was broken by a grim discovery. Officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were conducting a routine patrol around 12:30 a.m. when they noticed a vehicle parked in the 2100 block of East Hanna Avenue. Upon approaching the car to investigate, they found a 44-year-old male, later identified as Aurelio Rosas, unresponsive inside.
