In the early morning hours of Sunday, October 26, 2025, the life of Julian Gibbs, a 38-year-old Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in North Las Vegas, Nevada. The incident unfolded around 2:24 a.m. at the intersection of Cheyenne Avenue and North Fifth Street, where police were initially dispatched for what appeared to be a single-vehicle collision. Upon arrival, however, a more grim reality became apparent.
