On January 2, 2025, the body of 29-year-old Navdeep Oberoi, a male of Indian descent, was discovered near the railroad tracks in the vicinity of West Owens Avenue and Stocker Street in North Las Vegas, Nevada. Responding to a report of a deceased person, Metro officers arrived at the scene and confirmed the man's identity. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
