Fernando Chaparro Lopez, a 22-year-old male, tragically lost his life on August 3, 2019, in Cedar Park, Texas. The incident occurred at the intersection of U.S. Highway 183A Toll Road and East Whitestone Boulevard. Lopez was traveling with his uncle in a truck when another vehicle approached and fired several gunshots, resulting in Lopez's immediate death at the scene. His uncle was also injured but survived and was recovering in the hospital.
