John Michael Garcia, a 45-year-old man of Hispanic ethnicity from San Antonio, was tragically killed on May 12, 2018, in Cedar Park, Texas. He was shot by his estranged brother, Elijah Jared Stone, 47, of Austin, outside a home on Dogwood Trail. Stone also took his own life at the scene. Garcia's daughter, Hailey Michelle Reyes, 23, was also shot and critically injured; she later died on Memorial Day after being on life support.
