Death by Force

On the night of October 21, 2025, police were called to Wilmer Hall on Old Shell Road in Mobile, Alabama, where they found Amiayia White, a 20-year-old woman, shot inside the facility and fatally wounded. Officers responded around 11:31 p.m., and investigators said the shooter was someone known to her. White died at the scene, in a place intended as a refuge for families transitioning to stability.
