On April 9, 2017, in Mobile, Alabama, 27-year-old Alicia Nicole Trotter was forcibly taken from her apartment by her boyfriend, 33-year-old Danny Cobb. Witnesses reported the abduction around 3:59 a.m. Approximately two hours later, the Mobile County Sheriff's Office discovered Trotter's body near McDonald Road and Interstate 10. She had been fatally shot.
