In the winter of 2014, the city of Mobile, Alabama, was rocked by a brutal act of violence that claimed the lives of a mother and her son. On December 4, 67-year-old Rosa Vaughn Day McGahagin and her 43-year-old son, Daniel Herbert Vaughn, were found deceased in their shared workplace, a local photography studio.
