In the late hours of a Tuesday in Mobile, Alabama, the life of 41-year-old April Ruggs was tragically cut short. On November 1, 2020, at approximately 10:58 p.m., police were called to the 2600 block of Farnell Drive following a report of a shooting. Investigators determined that one or more unknown individuals had fired multiple shots into the residence from outside. Several of these rounds penetrated the home and struck Ruggs.
