Canyra Osborne, a 20-year-old Black woman from Mobile, Alabama, was riding in a vehicle with another young woman on the afternoon of November 28, 2021, when gunfire suddenly tore into their car near Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Cemetery Lane. Police said the shots came from another vehicle, turning an ordinary drive into a deadly attack.
