Arbrie Leigh Anthony, an 8-year-old African American girl, tragically lost her life on January 8, 2022, in Augusta, Georgia. Arbrie was outside her home on Third Avenue, petting a horse in her front yard, when she was struck by a bullet during a drive-by shooting. The horse was also killed in the incident. This heartbreaking event was captured on camera by her father, Arthur Anthony, who continues to grapple with the immense pain of losing his daughter in such a senseless act of violence.
