On January 15, 2024, 16-year-old Jayln Marie Lindsey tragically lost her life in a shooting on Interstate 165 in Prichard, Alabama. The incident occurred during a rolling gun battle, which also resulted in the injury of a 9-year-old boy. Authorities believe the shootout had gang affiliations, with the intended target being someone other than Jayln.
