On January 28, 2024, at approximately 5:13 p.m., Mobile Police Department officers responded to a reported shooting in the 600 block of Chin Street in Mobile, Alabama. Upon arrival, they discovered 44-year-old Khaliaka Meardry, who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
