Vanessa Christina Thompson, a 29-year-old woman from Mobile, Alabama, was tragically murdered on October 7, 2018. She was found with fatal gunshot wounds in the 1000 block of Stanton Road, in the Toulminville neighborhood of Mobile. Police responded to the scene shortly before 10:00 p.m. after receiving reports of shots fired in the area. Thompson was discovered inside a vehicle and was later pronounced dead from her injuries after emergency responders attempted to save her.
