Warren George Stewart III, 36, a Black male from Austin, was shot late on the night of June 6, 2025, in the 9800 block of Halifax Drive in northeast Austin. At approximately 10:28 p.m., a 911 call for help brought Austin-Travis County EMS to the home, where the caller—later identified as Stewart’s younger brother—led first responders to Warren lying on the ground with a gunshot wound.
