In the early hours of July 22, 2025, police were called to a home in the 1300 block of West Villaret Boulevard on San Antonio's South Side, where officers found Paul Rogelio Cabrera, 21, male, with a gunshot wound to the chest. Emergency crews pronounced Paul Rogelio Cabrera, 21, male, dead at the scene by around 3:30 a.m. Days later, on July 30, the Bexar County Medical Examiner identified Paul Rogelio Cabrera, 21, male, and ruled the death a homicide caused by a gunshot wound.
