On February 10, 2010, 50-year-old Bernabe Maldonado was killed during a targeted attack at a bar on the west side of San Antonio, Texas. The incident took place at the You Know Sports Bar, located in the 1800 block of Bandera near Hillcrest, around 9:45 p.m. Two masked suspects entered the bar with firearms and approached Maldonado, who was employed there, shooting him multiple times as patrons tried to flee.
