On the afternoon of June 10, 2025, Kendra Irby, 49, was found dead inside a Southside Richmond residence on Angela Drive after relatives asked police to check on her. She was a Black/African American woman and a mother whose routines were so steady that family “got a gut feeling” when she didn’t call or text as usual that morning.
