In the early hours of a Saturday morning in West Valley City, Utah, the life of 63-year-old Hispanic male Steven Louis Valdez was brought to a violent and tragic end. On July 25, 2015, up to three intruders broke into his home, leading to a fatal struggle. Officers responded to reports of shots fired at the residence, located at 4150 S.
