In the early hours of July 20, 2025, a young Black/African American man, 21-year-old Airman Brayden Lovan, lost his life in a tragic incident at F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Lovan, who hailed from Greenville, Kentucky, was a defender assigned to the 90th Security Forces Squadron and had been on his first assignment since entering active duty in November 2023.
