In the early hours of July 5, 2021, 14-year-old Daniel King-William Barlow was fatally shot at the Cheyenne Station Apartments in the 1600 block of Taft Avenue in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Officers responding to a report of shots fired around 1 a.m. found Daniel with a gunshot wound; he was transported to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
