Quivonte Blount, a 29-year-old Black male, was found shot to death in north Charlotte on the morning of September 2, 2025. Shortly after 6:30 a.m., officers responded to a welfare check in the 4100 block of Hyde Park Drive, near Beatties Ford Road, where they located Blount and began a homicide investigation.
