Jamontae Morris, a 22-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on March 18, 2019, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred at an apartment complex near the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Gunfire erupted during an argument outside the complex, which quickly escalated, leaving Morris fatally wounded in the doorway. He was later pronounced dead from his injuries.
