In the early evening of May 25, 2025, Donzell Johnson, 18, male, was shot in St. Louis’ LaSalle Park neighborhood and later died at a hospital. Officers were called around 7:33 p.m. to the 1000 block of LaSalle Park Court, where they found the wounded teenager inside a residence; investigators later said preliminary findings suggested he had been outside when he was struck by gunfire before ending up indoors. Paramedics rushed him for treatment, but he was pronounced dead soon after.
