Death by Force

Deandre Pickens, a 22-year-old African American male from Saint Louis, Missouri, was fatally shot on January 15, 2025. The incident occurred in the rear of the 3500 block of Harper Street in the Fairground neighborhood. Officers responded to a shooting call shortly after 1 p.m. and found Pickens lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services arrived at the scene and pronounced him dead. Pickens was a resident of the 8700 block of Trumbell Avenue.
