On a Wednesday afternoon, January 15, 2025, the life of 22-year-old Deandre Pickens, an African American male, was tragically cut short in the Fairground neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. Just after 1 p.m., officers responded to a call of a shooting in the rear of the 3500 block of Harper Street. Upon arrival, they discovered Pickens on the ground, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of emergency medical services, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
