In the summer of 2025, a tragedy unfolded in the community of Jennings, within St. Louis County, Missouri, forever altering the lives of one family. On the afternoon of July 8th, the life of 15-year-old Anthony Page was abruptly cut short by gunfire. The young man, a resident of nearby Hazelwood, was discovered on the 2700 block of Darla Court with life-threatening gunshot wounds shortly before 4 p.m.
Emergency responders rushed him to a local hospital, but his injuries proved too severe, and he was pronounced deceased.
Born on January 16, 2010, Anthony Darrell Page III was known for his vibrant energy and a warming smile that brought light, love, and laughter to those around him. He had recently graduated from Hazelwood West Middle School and was looking forward to starting high school. Anthony was a young man with a passion for many activities, including skating, football, basketball, wrestling, and boxing. His kind heart left a lasting impression on his family, friends, and the wider community. He was the second of four children and is remembered with love by his parents, Cassandra Taylor and Anthony Page Jr., his sisters, and a large extended family of grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The St. Louis County Police Department's Bureau of Crimes Against Persons immediately launched a homicide investigation into the fatal shooting. As of the days following the incident, authorities had not taken any suspects into custody, and the investigation was described as active and ongoing. Law enforcement officials have appealed to the public for any information regarding the shooting, encouraging potential witnesses to come forward to assist in their investigation.
