In the summer of 2025, a young man's life was cut tragically short in St. Louis. Jermaine Williams Junior, a 20-year-old male from Florissant, was found deceased on Saturday, August 2nd. The discovery was made after police were called to the scene of a car crash in the 5000 block of Hebert Street. Arriving officers found a Chevrolet Malibu that had overturned, and inside the vehicle was Williams, who had sustained a gunshot wound.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to charging documents, Pearson was allegedly involved in setting up a marijuana transaction with Jermaine Williams Junior. The motive for the meeting, according to authorities, was robbery. The charges allege that during the course of this planned drug deal, the marijuana was stolen from Williams, and he was fatally shot. Pearson has since been charged in connection with the homicide.
