Jonathan Peebles, 37, a Black man, was shot and killed on the night of October 20, 2025, in the 9200 block of Worlds Fair Drive in north St. Louis County. Officers from the St. Louis County Police Department’s North County Precinct responded at 8:58 p.m. to reports of a shooting and found Peebles with life-threatening gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
